1What the app does
NetBliss lets you browse a curated catalogue of movies and watch them through YouTube's official embedded player. The app shows each movie's poster, description and cast, and lets you save favourites to a personal watchlist.
2Information we do NOT collect
- Your name, email address, phone number or any account details.
- Your contacts, photos, files, camera, microphone or location.
- Which movies you watch — NetBliss does not send your viewing activity to us.
- We do not sell your personal information to anyone.
The only information collected automatically is collected by Google AdMob and YouTube, as described in Sections 4 and 5.
3Information stored on your device
To work properly, NetBliss saves a small amount of data locally on your phone:
- Watchlist — the movies you save with the heart button.
- Search history — your recent searches on the Discover screen.
- App preferences — for example, whether you have already seen the welcome screens.
This data never leaves your device and is never sent to us. You can delete it anytime from Settings → Clear watchlist / Clear search history, or by uninstalling the app.
4Third-party services
When you use certain features, your device connects directly to these services, which may collect technical information (such as IP address, device type and usage data) under their own policies:
- YouTube (YouTube API Services) — all videos play through YouTube's official embedded player. By watching videos in NetBliss you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service. Please also review the Google Privacy Policy. You can manage access at Google security settings.
- YouTube image servers (i.ytimg.com) — used to load video thumbnails.
- Google AdMob (Google Mobile Ads SDK) — used to show ads in the app. See Section 5 for details.
- The Movie Database (TMDB) — may be used to load posters, ratings and cast photos. This product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB. See the TMDB Privacy Policy.
5Advertising (Google AdMob)
NetBliss is free to use and is supported by advertising provided by Google AdMob. To show ads, the Google Mobile Ads SDK built into the app may automatically collect and process the following information:
- Advertising ID — a resettable identifier provided by Google Play services.
- Device and app information — such as device model, operating system version, language, and app version.
- IP address — which may be used to estimate your general location (country or city), not your precise location.
- Ad interactions — such as ads viewed or tapped, and diagnostic data used to measure ad performance and prevent fraud.
This information is collected and used by Google to deliver, personalise, limit the frequency of, and measure ads, and to detect fraud and abuse. It is sent directly to Google, not to us. Learn more in How Google uses information from apps that use its services and Google's advertising policy.
Personalised and non-personalised ads. Where required by law (for example, for users in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland), the app asks for your consent before showing personalised ads, using Google's consent tools. If you do not give consent, you may still see non-personalised ads, which are based on general context rather than your interests. You can change your choice at any time where the option is available in the app's Settings.
Your ad choices on Android. You can reset or delete your advertising ID at any time from your device: Settings → Google → Ads → Reset advertising ID or Delete advertising ID. You can also manage how Google personalises ads in My Ad Center.
NetBliss does not use any separate analytics or tracking tools besides the services described in this policy.
6Permissions
NetBliss uses only the following permissions:
- Internet and network state — to stream videos, load images and request ads.
- Advertising ID (
com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID) — added by the Google Mobile Ads SDK to show and measure ads.
The app does not request access to your camera, microphone, contacts, photos, files or precise location.
7Children's privacy
NetBliss is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Ads in the app are not intended for children. Some movies may not be suitable for younger viewers; age ratings are shown on each movie's page. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, please contact us and we will help remove it.
8Data security and retention
We do not operate servers that collect or store your personal information. Data saved on your device remains there until you clear it or uninstall the app. Information collected by Google for advertising, or by YouTube when you play a video, is stored and protected by those companies under their own privacy policies and retention periods. All connections made by the app use encrypted HTTPS.
9Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
