Walvora privacy policy
Effective 5 October 2026
The short version
- Your photos are processed on your phone. We never upload them.
- There is no account, and we don't collect your name, email or contacts.
- Walvora has no ads and no analytics, and we don't sell or share data.
- Notification access is used only to keep the lock screen ready. We never read your notifications.
Who we are
Walvora ("Walvora", "we", "us") is an Android app published on Google Play by Muhammad Daniyal. It lets you set depth-effect wallpapers where the clock sits behind the subject, with a custom lock screen and an always-on display (AOD). This policy explains what information the app handles and how.
What stays on your phone
Walvora saves the following only in its private storage on your device. None of it is sent to us.
- Your clock designs: font, colours, layout, depth and animation choices.
- Your settings, such as lock screen, AOD, brightness and screen-off timing.
- Copies of the wallpapers you use and the subject cut-outs made from them.
Photos you add
When you add your own photo, you pick it with Android's photo picker, so Walvora only receives the photos you choose — it cannot see the rest of your gallery. The photo is copied into the app's private storage, and the subject (a person, pet or object) is cut out on your device so the clock can appear behind it. Your photos are never uploaded to our servers, and you can delete them in the app at any time.
Permissions and why
You can change or revoke any permission in your phone's Settings. Some features stop working without the permission they need.
Google Play services
The subject cut-out uses Google ML Kit through Google Play services. The image is processed on your device. Google Play services may download the cut-out model and may collect limited diagnostic and usage information about this feature, which is handled under the Google Privacy Policy. Walvora is distributed through Google Play, which has its own privacy terms.
Collection and sharing
We do not collect personal information. Walvora has no sign-in, no advertising SDKs and no analytics SDKs. We do not sell, rent or share any data with third parties. If this ever changes — for example if ads are added in a future version — we will update this policy and the app's Google Play listing before the change takes effect.
Keeping and deleting data
Everything Walvora stores stays on your device until you remove it. To delete it, long-press a photo you added and choose Delete, clear the app's data in your phone's Settings, or uninstall the app. Because we hold no copies, there is nothing further to delete on our side.
Children
Walvora is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
If we change how Walvora handles information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
